Making Up

We can make-up all types of needlework from bookmarks through to wall hangings. Follow the menu links for more information about the services available, but please don't be put off if your item is not listed - we can almost certainly help so just call us (on 01553 340137) to discuss your requirements!

I have an item that I would like made-up. What should I do now?

If we have not previously done any work for you then we would recommend that you start by giving us a call (on 01553 340137) to discuss your requirements and to let us know what you are sending.

We will then need you to post us the finished piece, together with the relevant completed Order Form (or the same information in a covering letter) - see our ordering page, or the appropriate section on the left hand side for the relevant form. We would recommend that you use Royal Mail Special or Signed For postage services as we cannot accept any responsibility for items that go missing on their way to us.

Can you tell me how much it will cost before I send it?

We have standard prices for the majority of our making-up services. Please refer to the relevant section on the left hand side for more information. If you are unsure of the price for your particular item please just give us a call and we should be able to provide an exact price over the phone. For fixed price items we require payment to be made when the order is placed.

For some items we will need to see the piece before we can give an exact price. If after receiving the quote you decide that you do not wish to proceed, we will return the item to you and the only cost will be the return postage. If you would like us to carry out the work we will require payment of the full amount before the making-up is completed.

How long will it take?

Every piece of work is different but you can expect to have the made-up piece returned to you within two to three weeks.

If you have an urgent piece we are usually able to put it ahead of other work and we will always meet any deadlines that are agreed. Please do contact us to discuss any particular requirements that you may have.
